Phillips Named to Board of Advisors at RIT
Luann Phillips, director of PK/PD at Cognigen, has accepted an invitation to join the board of advisors of the School of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Science at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Phillips joins a prestigious group of board members from companies such as the Aberdeen Group, Eastman Kodak Company, General Electric, SAS, the National Security Agency, Toyota, White Mountain Insurance, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Phillips was nominated to the board based on her experience in pharmacometrics and as a high school math teacher. The board felt that her combination of skills and experience will give them the perspective they need in determining the future needs of the School of Mathematical Sciences. Her participation on the board will help develop and implement coursework that is crucial to the skill set required for future pharmacometric modelers.
