The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the Swedish =
Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences are pleased to announce this advanced =

PK and PD data and physiological concepts. Steady-state, link, receptor =
on/off and turnover (indirect response) models. Modelling reversible and =
irreversible responses. Functional adaptation, tolerance and rebound. =
Disease models. Multiple dose and subjects PD data. Dichotomous data. =
Based on the background and concepts provided by the course lecturers, =
delegates will apply this information during hands-on sessions. A unique =
feature of the course is the access to the computer package to undertake =
hands-on exercises on real-life case studies and availability of course =
tutors to help in problem solving.

The course will be led by Dr Johan Gabriesson, Senior Principle =
Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D Mölndal and Dr Dan Weiner, Senior Vice =
President, Pharsight Corp. The course leaders are authors of the highly =
