**We apologize if you receive multiple copies of this announcement**
Dear all,
We are pleased to announce the availability of the software PFIM =
Interface 2.1, an extension of PFIM with a graphical user interface. It =
is dedicated to evaluation and optimisation of population designs for =
single response models in the context of population analyses using the R =
software. No skill in R is required to use this new version, available =
for both Windows and Linux environment.
Compared to PFIM 1.2 and PFIMOPT 1.0, the previous versions of PFIM, =
options have been added for model specification and for optimisation. =
The model can be written using an analytical form or using a =
differential equation system. Moreover, with this new version, a library =
of pharmacokinetic models is available. Concerning optimisation step, =
the Federov-Wynn algorithm has been added as an alternative to the =
Simplex algorithm. This algorithm allows design optimisation with fixed =
sampling times specified by users. This can be a great advantage with =
respects to medical constraints.
PFIM Interface 2.1 can be downloaded on the new PFIM website:
www.pfim.biostat.fr
PFIM Interface 2.1 is registered at the APP (Agency for the Protection =
of Programs) and is distributed under the terms of the GNU GENERAL =
PUBLIC LICENSE (GNU GPL) Version 2, June 1991.
