Dear all,
how do I set up multiple dosing. I want to model, say, 10 oral doses at
an interval of 24 h, and the observations come after the 10th dose. That
is, the subejcts took 10 doses, and subsequently blood was drawn at short
intervals during a day to measure plasma concentrations. I tried the AMT
and II data items but something is missing or not working, I can't get it
running. Maybe another data item that I forgot. Can anybody please help
me seting up the data file?
Thanx in advance
Jorn

Joern,

It's hard to know what you are doing wrong without sending us an example. Perhaps
you forot the ADDL data item?

ID TIME AMT II ADDL DV MDV
1 0 100 24 9 . 1
1 24 . . . 1.1 0
1 26 . . . 6.3 0
1 28 . . . 4.2 0
1 30 . . . 2.5 0

Dr. Lotsch,

In addition to the AMT and II data items you will need the ADDL item to specify the number
of additional doses exactly like the initial dose should be given. You can also use the
SS option to specify a steady state option.

So $ INPUT ....ADDL...

TIME AMT ADDL II DV
0 100 9 24 .
1 . . . X

Page 82 of the NONMEM help guide details actual data structure.
