Hi! We are trying to install the NONMEM program on an ALPHA 3000 model 500
running OpenVMS 6.1. My company's computer programmer was able to compile
all subroutines except the INPT (double precision). INPT is giving an
"access violation" error during the compilation as follow:
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=0.0, virtual
address=00000000, PC=00342268, PS=0000001B
Improperly handled condition, image exit forced. ....
If anyone know the fix to this problem, please let me know. I will be

I haven't finished installing NONMEM on our Alpha but I did get past this
error. Our computer center requested a new version of DEC Fortran. Using
version X6.2-614 I was able to compile INPT.f (and NONMEM01.f) without
fatal errors. The FORTRAN version number is shown when you request a
listing (/LIST=xxxx.lst). I hope this helps.

we're installing NONMEM on a DECstation 3000 Model 300
under OVMS 6.1.
Our Fortran compiler DEC Fortran V6.2-508 wasn't able to
compile INPT.FOR and stopped with an fatal error:
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00,
virtual address=00000000, PC
=00342268, PS=0000001B
Improperly handled condition, image exit forced.
Has anyone experienced and/or fixed the same problem?

I have talked with at least two others with with same problem and the solution
appears to be to upgrade to the latest version of Fortran for the AXP
processer. I hope that this helps...
