I currently use the g77 compiler on HP/UX 10.20, and it works great. We're
thinking about upgrading to HP/UX 11.0, and I can't find a pre-built g77
compiler for that platform. Does anyone have any pointers to such a thing?

If we continue with the upgrade, I suppose we can bring down the GNU source
and 'make' ourselves - but I was wondering if someone else has already done
that work! :)

Thanks for any comment,

Mike Carniello

i'm not sure about HP-UX but for sun solaris systems you can get
precompiled packages at, is there such an animal for
HP. compiling the gcc suite should only take about an hour or so,
depending on the speed of your systems.
